Family History | George Bright was born c1839 in Reading, Berks and, in the 1881 census, is recorded as being an assistant chemist lodging with the Jackman family at 40 Albert Street, Ventnor. Kelly's 1915 Directory also records George as a chemist, but now living at Seaview. Photography would have been a relatively easy 'sideline' for a chemist, but it is not known when George took up the profession. | |
